I'm Liam Lambourn, the owner of Lambourn Electrical Services. After spending 10 years working for an established electrical company, I decided to take the leap and build something of my own — creating a better future for myself and my children.

With over 12 years of hands-on experience across residential and commercial projects, I have worked on every type of installation — from emergency repairs at midnight to complete rewires of period properties, consumer unit upgrades in 1950s housing, and EV charger installations on modern driveways.

That breadth of experience matters because it means I have seen the problems before they happen. I know which cable brands last and which ones fail. I know which consumer units are reliable at year five and which ones develop issues at year two. I know the difference between a quick fix and a proper solution — and I always recommend the proper solution.

I am Part P registered, which means all notifiable electrical work is certified and reported to your local Building Control authority. You receive proper documentation — Electrical Installation Certificates, Minor Works Certificates, and EICR reports — that you can present to insurers, surveyors, and buyers with confidence.

I carry full public liability insurance. If the unexpected happens on your property, you are protected. I also carry professional indemnity cover, so the advice and recommendations I provide are backed by insurance.

Materials matter. I use professional-grade components from manufacturers like Hager, Schneider Electric, and Wylex — not budget alternatives that compromise on safety or longevity. The consumer unit I install today will still be protecting your home in 15 years.
